to lead our facade and aluminum division in the UAE. This leadership role combines strategic business development, operational oversight, and technical project management expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing high-value projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality facade and aluminum solutions that meet industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve business growth in the UAE facade and aluminum sector.
Identify and pursue new project opportunities through market intelligence, client engagement, and bid participation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, developers, and industry stakeholders.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Estimation & Cost Management
Oversee the estimation process for aluminum and facade works, ensuring accuracy in cost calculations for materials, labor, fabrication, and installation.
Approve detailed project proposals, quotations, and BOQs.
Monitor project budgets and implement cost-control strategies to maintain financial efficiency.
Project Management & Execution
Lead the planning and execution of facade and aluminum projects, ensuring alignment with scope, quality, time, and budget requirements.
Supervise project teams including project managers, engineers, designers, and site supervisors.
Resolve escalated issues and ensure timely decision-making to avoid project delays.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and evaluate multidisciplinary teams across design, estimation, and execution functions.
Establish KPIs and ensure team accountability through regular performance reviews and coaching.
Promote a collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented culture.
Operational Excellence
Streamline internal processes to improve operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and project delivery timelines.
Ensure optimal use of resources including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Enforce high-quality standards throughout all project phases.
Ensure full compliance with UAE building regulations, safety codes, and industry best practices.
Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the senior point of contact for key clients and consultants.
Ensure clear, professional communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Deliver regular progress reports and address client concerns promptly.
Financial Oversight & Risk Management
Monitor project profitability, cash flow, and budget performance.
Prepare financial forecasts and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
Identify risks related to cost, timeline, or quality and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
20-25 years of experience in facade and aluminum project delivery, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership or general management role within the UAE or GCC region.
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of aluminum systems, curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and modern facade technologies.
Business Acumen:
Proven experience in revenue generation, client acquisition, and commercial negotiations.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
Communication:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Software Proficiency:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent).
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
Membership with a recognized engineering or construction body (e.g., SOE, CIOB, AIA) is a plus.
