Job Overview

We are hiring a

highly experienced General Manager - Construction

to take full responsibility for the company's construction and business operations in the UAE. This role is strictly for professionals who are

currently working as a General Manager or have held a General Manager / Senior Operations Head role

within a construction company. The position requires strong leadership across site execution, office operations, financial control, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and control all construction, operational, and administrative functions Take complete ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery Oversee multiple project sites to ensure quality, safety, timelines, and cost control Coordinate between engineering, procurement, finance, contracts, and HR teams Monitor project budgets, P&L, cash flow, and overall financial performance Ensure strict compliance with UAE construction laws, HSE, and quality standards Manage, mentor, and evaluate Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Review project progress, resolve critical issues, and implement corrective actions Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiency across the organization
Mandatory Requirements

Must be currently working as a General Manager or have prior General Manager experience in a construction company

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Minimum 10+ years of experience

in the construction industry Strong experience in managing large teams and multiple construction projects In-depth knowledge of site operations, contracts, budgeting, and project controls Proven leadership, decision-making, and strategic management skills

Experience in the UAE construction market is mandatory
