General Manager - Freight Forwarding (Immediate Joiner)

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to oversee our freight forwarding division. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, leading operations, and managing a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Create and implement business strategies to meet growth objectives. Build lasting relationships with carriers, agents, and key customers. Supervise all import/export processes, documentation, customs clearance, and delivery functions. Manage P&L, budgets, pricing, and vendor negotiations. Recruit, train, and mentor staff across operations, documentation, and sales departments. Ensure regulatory compliance and optimize operational processes. Track KPIs and lead risk management efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)

. 8-12 years' experience in

freight forwarding,

with 4-5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong industry network and proven experience in driving business growth and managing

P&L

. Exceptional

leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.

Thorough understanding of trade lanes and local regulatory requirements.
