Job Title: General Manager | Immediate Joiner

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and expand our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding and proven expertise in P&L management. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and operational know-how to ensure business growth, efficiency, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and key clients. Oversee imports, exports, documentation, customs clearance, and deliveries. Manage P&L, budgets, pricing strategies, and vendor negotiations. Recruit, train, and mentor staff across operations, sales, and documentation. Monitor KPIs, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred). 8-12 years of freight forwarding experience, including 4-5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in

P&L management

and driving business growth. Strong industry network with carriers, agents, and key clients. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Solid understanding of trade lanes and regulatory requirements.
