General Manager - Freight Forwarding | Immediate Joiner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to take charge of our freight forwarding division. The ideal candidate will oversee operations, drive business growth, manage financial performance, and lead a skilled team to deliver excellence across all functions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Build and nurture strong relationships with carriers, agents, and major clients. Supervise import and export operations, customs clearance, documentation, and final delivery. Manage P&L, budgets, pricing, and vendor partnerships. Lead recruitment, training, and development of operational, documentation, and sales teams. Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and streamline operational processes. Track KPIs, identify risks, and apply effective risk management practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar field (MBA preferred). 8-12 years of freight forwarding experience, with at least 4-5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven success in P&L management and business growth. Strong industry network and ability to negotiate effectively. In-depth knowledge of international trade lanes and local regulatory practices. Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
