Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven

General Manager

to oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of our textile and garments manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, proven leadership experience, and a strong track record in production, supply chain, quality control, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end operations across production, procurement, quality assurance, inventory, and logistics. Develop and implement operational policies, systems, and procedures for efficiency and compliance. Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to ensure profitability. Ensure timely and high-quality production output that meets buyer standards and deadlines. Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to align production with market demand. Maintain compliance with labor, safety, and environmental regulations. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to improve performance and productivity. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability. Establish and manage relationships with vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience

in the textile/garments/apparel manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. In-depth knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, compliance standards, and global sourcing. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance metrics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage complex operations and multi-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) Experience working with international clients and export operations. Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
