About the Role



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

General Manager

to lead the operations and growth of a rapidly expanding distribution company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

trading, supply chain management, and business development

, with a passion for building efficient systems and driving profitability.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the company's day-to-day operations, commercial strategy, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities



Business & Operations Management



Oversee end-to-end operations including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, logistics, and distribution. Develop and implement operational systems to ensure efficiency, quality control, and cost optimization. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms to secure the best pricing and supply reliability. Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, permits, and trade requirements.

Sales & Market Development



Lead B2B sales strategy to grow the customer base across retail, hospitality, and distribution sectors. Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand product reach. Oversee client relationship management and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Financial & Administrative Leadership



Manage budgets, pricing strategy, and profit margins to achieve financial targets. Oversee financial reporting, cost control, and cash flow management. Support the development of long-term business plans and performance KPIs.

Team Leadership



Recruit, train, and manage team members across operations, logistics, and sales. Foster a performance-driven, accountable, and collaborative work culture. Set clear goals and regularly evaluate team and individual performance.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum

5-10 years of experience

in general management, operations, or trading within the UAE or GCC. Proven track record in B2B sales, import/export, and distribution management. Strong negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills. Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage. UAE driving license preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
