General Manager (gm) Trading & Contracting ( Construction)
Job Description
We're Hiring: General Manager - Trading & Contracting Sector: Building Construction We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our construction operations in Qatar. The right candidate will have strong technical knowledge, proven leadership in large scale projects and established excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities: -Ensure sound planning for new projects. -Lead and deliver multiple existing civil projects across Qatar.-Manage and develop work teams.-Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution.-Take full responsibility for P&L, budgeting, cost control, and procurement.-Ensure sound effective cost reduction.-Optimize effective use of projects materials and resources. -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government entities, and consultants.-Ensure compliance with Qatari laws, safety, and regulatory standards.-Support business development and company and market share growth. Requirements: -10-15 years of experience in the GCC, with at least 5 years in Qatar as GM.-Bachelor's degree in civil; UPDA preferred.-Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects.-Strong commercial acumen in procurement, subcontracting, and cost control.-Contracts management. -Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
