What Does a General Manager Do at ACE?
As General Manager - ACE Retail, you will be responsible for delivering financial performance across revenue, margins, inventory, and return on investment. You'll lead strategic planning, people development, operational cost optimization, and e-commerce transformation while enhancing customer experience across both physical and digital touchpoints.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Deliver sales, profitability, and market share targets across UAE ACE operations
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term strategic plans for growth and innovation
- Implement inventory and category management with efficient sourcing and distribution
- Lead omnichannel retail planning, including digital commerce growth and joint store trading
- Oversee P&L, margin control, OTB, and commercial performance reviews
- Develop team capability, succession planning, and performance culture
- Implement customer-centric practices including NPS and Voice of the Customer feedback
- Maintain strong principal/supplier relationships, securing exclusivity for key product lines
- Utilize SAP and advanced MIS to ensure actionable business insights
