Job Description
General Maintenance - Duties and Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities remain in safe, working condition Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems as required Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and structural issues Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment Replace or repair damaged fixtures, appliances, and building components Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory records Assist with renovations, installations, and facility improvements Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized repairs are required Perform grounds maintenance such as landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste Support setup and breakdown for events or facility operations as needed
