oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities of site and maintenance operations related to
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP)

, and general maintenance. The role ensures that all projects and maintenance activities are executed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:Supervision and Coordination
Supervise and lead teams of technicians, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled workers on-site.
Plan, assign, and monitor daily work schedules to ensure smooth operations.
Coordinate with engineers and management to ensure project requirements and priorities are met.
Ensure proper use of manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve maximum efficiency.
Technical Duties
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and civil systems.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and work schedules.
Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in electrical, plumbing, or civil works.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly implemented.
Safety and Compliance
Enforce site safety rules and ensure all personnel follow company HSE policies.
Identify potential hazards and take corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare daily progress reports, manpower logs, and material usage summaries.
Assist in preparing project schedules, material requisitions, and job estimates.
Report work progress, delays, and issues to the management or project engineer.
Team Management
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to workers.
Evaluate worker performance and recommend improvements.
Foster teamwork and maintain discipline at the worksite.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or related field).
Experience:
Minimum
5-10 years
of experience in construction, maintenance, or facilities management, with at least
3 years in a supervisory or foreman role
.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of
MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
.
Understanding of
civil and structural maintenance
.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with tools, materials, and equipment used in construction and maintenance.
