General Foreman
Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Job:
The General Foreman (Landscaping & Irrigation) is responsible to maintain and develop all existing new landscape areas in RLC. He incumbent will be in charge of implementing good landscape maintenance practices and the implementation / execution of new landscaping areas in RLC - around 300sq km.
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 8 years experience in supervising nurseries and/or municipal gardens/parks in semi-arid regions.
Experience in Plant taxonomy is required. Knowledge of Spoken and Written English is required.
Knowledge of Landscape layout and design planning, irrigation system and general landscaping practices.
Strong oral and written English
Supervisory skills
Strong knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools and supplies.
Educational Qualifications:
Diploma in Agricultural Engineering is a must however, Bachelor Degree in Agriculture Engineering is preferred.
