General Foreman

with

5 years of hands?on experience

in managing onsite construction operations. Skilled in coordinating trades, supervising labor and subcontractors, and ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery. Strong communication skills and proven ability to lead diverse teams and handle unforeseen challenges proactively.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Supervision & Coordination

Lead onsite teams--laborers and subcontractors--ensuring tasks are executed according to blueprints, schedules, and quality standards

Blueprint Interpretation & Scheduling

Translate technical drawings into daily work plans, allocate manpower and resources, and manage delivery coordination to maintain workflow efficiency

Quality & Safety Oversight

Conduct regular inspections to uphold building code compliance, enforce safety procedures (OSHA or UAE equivalent), and minimize rework or incidents

Resource & Cost Control

Manage materials, tools, and equipment usage; monitor progress and implement cost-saving approaches if needed

ommunication & Reporting

Serve as the main point of contact on?site; report progress and issues to project managers, engineers, and clients; maintain daily logs and documentation

Mentorship & Team Development

Train and guide junior crew members, support onboarding and knowledge transfer, foster productive site culture

Qualifications

Experience

: 5 years as Foreman or General Foreman, ideally in villa, civil, or infrastructure projects (e.g., Dubai Hills)

Technical Knowledge

: Solid familiarity with construction methods, materials, and local building codes (Dubai/UAE

Reading Skills

: Proficient in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and method statements

Education

: High school diploma or technical diploma; degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is a plus
