Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

General Foreman

with strong leadership skills and a solid background in

building construction projects

within the UAE. The candidate will oversee and coordinate site operations, ensure compliance with project specifications, and manage labor productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily site activities to ensure project progress according to schedule. Coordinate and manage teams of workers, subcontractors, and equipment on site. Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor material usage and stock levels, coordinating with the procurement team. Report progress, challenges, and site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager. Conduct daily toolbox talks and site safety briefings. Maintain quality control and ensure workmanship standards are met. Assist in resolving any on-site technical issues in coordination with engineering staff. Ensure proper site housekeeping and organization.

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in

building construction

(residential/commercial/high-rise), preferably within the

UAE

. Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Familiarity with site reporting and documentation. Good understanding of civil and structural work sequences. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Languages: English required; Hindi/Urdu an advantage.
