Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on
General Foreman
to supervise and coordinate all site activities across various construction trades. The ideal candidate will ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and deadlines.Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily site activities and ensure smooth operations on construction sites. Coordinate and manage the work of laborers, subcontractors, and equipment operators. Ensure adherence to construction drawings, project schedules, and safety regulations. Monitor work progress, quality, and resource allocation. Report daily progress and any issues or delays to the Site Engineer/Project Manager. Ensure all workers follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE. Assist in resolving on-site problems and communicating changes or instructions effectively. Verify materials delivered and ensure proper storage and handling on-site.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-8 years of UAE experience as a General Foreman in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices. Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills. Good command of English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is an advantage. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions.
