As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Your expertise will contribute to the overall financial health of our organization and support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and report on financial statements and monthly management information reports to support strategic planning and decisions.

General Ledger Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial transactions into the general ledger. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to track financial performance against targets.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and managing tax-related inquiries or audits.

Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations and procurement, to provide financial insights that support operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Young, Energetic, Bachelor of Commerce, postgraduate having minimum 3 years' experience in finance preferably Hypermarket/Supermarket business

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted International Accounting Standard.

Knowledge of financial and accounting ERP software

Excellent practical knowledge of Excel and use of advanced functions.

An analytical approach to work. Ability to analyze financial and operational data and prepare financial reports and other analysis report. Good commercial and business awareness.

Good knowledge and hand on experience of all type of reconciliation like suppliers, customers, bank, general ledger etc.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy and an investigative nature.

The capacity to make quick but rational decisions.

Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Problem analysis, judgment and problem-solving.

Stress tolerance.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and if require extra hours.

Salary depends on qualification and experience.
