General Accountant

Job Description
Our company is looking for general accountant, holding a Bachelor\'s degree in commerce, with minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in manufacturing company, preferably foodstuff related. Must have the following skills:
** Job Type: Full-time Experience:
- Conceptually clear in basic accounting transactions
- Worked in any ERP system
- Should be willing to take initiative
- Purchase & Sales Accounting
- Coordination with suppliers and customers
- Monthly closing of books
- Costing
- Completing bank reconciliations on daily basis and ensure reconciling items are well explained.
- Maintain fixed assets register and carry out assets inventories as per company policy
- Reconcile Inventories (Stock and Goods in Transit) monthly between general ledger and supply chain reports.
- VAT Compliances \xe2\x80\x93 calculations, returns and reconciliation.
- Conduct a month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliation, adjustment, and closing journal entries to ensure accurate and full recognition of financial information, including inventory verification
- Check, prepare and process all approved payment vouchers, invoices and reimbursements in accordance with the applicable payment procedures
- Monitor cash and bank accounts balance to ensure that adequate funds are kept in the various accounts to meet general and salary expenses as well as company\xe2\x80\x99s other obligations.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in short deadlines.
- Payroll Accounting, Calculation of End of Service and vacation benefits.
- Petty Cash handling.
