General information about institution The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) is an independent co-education institution of Higher Education that provides an integrated American-style, undergraduate and graduate education. Job Purpose & Responsibilities The General Accountant is responsible for reconciling all trial balance accounts with detailed schedules and resolve all discrepancies arising in receivables, payables, assets, revenues and expenses GL accounts. The GA is also responsible to assist the Finance Director in preparation of financial statements and timely closing of month end. The role of GA requires preparing / providing support in preparation of various kinds of reports for various stakeholders such as accreditation bodies, IDO, auditors etc. Minimum Qualification and Education Essential academic qualification and professional/vocational certificates:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACA or ACCA or CPA or CMA
