This position is for ACCOUNTANT/ASST. ACCOUNTANT (Please ignore the heading) Salary range offered: AED 3,000/- to AED 3,500/-. Please DO NOT APPLY if you are not okay with the salary. Please DO NOT APPLY if you don't have prior ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL. CANDIDATES HAVING EXPERIENCE OTHER THAN ABOVE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Candidates must COMPLETE THE ONLINE ASSESSMENT WITHIN 2 DAYS of applying failing which their candidature will be rejected. :

• Managing all accounting transactions. Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.
• Ensuring timely payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.
• Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Reconciling bank statements and financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Administering payrolls and controlling income and expenditure.
• Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statement, and other reports.
• Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends and publishing them in time.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
• Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintaining financial security by following internal controls.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Complying with financial policies and regulations.
• Complying with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements.
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
• Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
• Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status.
• Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Securing financial information by completing database backups.
• Any other task assigned by the department head.

Eligibility and Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree with Accounting and Auditing as main subjects.
• Experience:

At least 2 years' experience as Accountant in a Retail business from voucher entry to finalization of accounts. Candidates having experience in other business should NOT apply. At least one year's experience in MS Dynamics NAV or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. Experience with general ledger functions. Experience with financial reporting requirements.

• Skills:

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures, principals and regulations. Proficient in MS Office suite. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Understanding of Chart of Accounts. Attention to Detail, Aptitude for Numbers, Analytical Ability, Business Acumen and Interest, Quantitative Skills, Cognitive Ability, Corporate Finance, Communication Skills, Confidentiality, Deadline-Oriented, Data Entry Management, General Math Skills, Initiative, Integrity, Interpersonal Skills, Methodical Approach, Planning and Organizing, Problem Analysis, Problem-Solving Skills, Proficiency in IT, Reporting Skills, Reporting Research Results, Self-motivation, Teamwork, Time Management.
