Job Description
Required experienced accountant for a leading interior designing company in Dubai to handle all accounts independently until finalization. Must be a commerce graduate ) with minimum 5 years of experience and expertise in the following areas with Immediately joining Salary Range starting from AED 3500 . Visit or Cancelled visa is preferable
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Preparation of cheques
- Payment follow ups with the clients
- Vendors reconciliation and payments
- Petty cash management
- Daily update on collections
- Bank reconciliation, debtors and creditors reconciliation on a monthly and annual basis
- Monthly closing entries - allocation of pre-paid expenses, keeping provisions for unpaid expenses etc.
- Handle other Accounts duties, as well as overflow work from other staff
- Review bank statements and reconcile all discrepancies
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Knowledge of computerized accounts,
- Knowledge of VAT submission
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
