Frank Porter is seeking to hire a General Accountant based in our Dubai office ASAP. We are looking for someone who is organised who can hit the ground running with minimal handholding. Responsibilities Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secures financial information by completing database backups. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Requirements Must be a qualified accountant Must be very well organised Needs to be proactive by identifying potential areas of concerns and providing solutions Candidates need to demonstrate knowledge of intercompany cross charging Must be comfortable and confident to challenge decisions, process, data etc. What We Offer A monthly salary of 5,000AED and a 5-day working week (may overlap weekends if needed) You'll join a great group of people here with our rapidly growing team.
