. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal and government financial policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the accounting system
Review and verify financial transactions and supporting documents in Arabic and English
Prepare VAT filings and support audits when required
Coordinate with internal departments to gather and validate financial data
Assist in budget tracking, cost monitoring, and variance analysis
Support the Finance Manager in ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks
Ensure compliance with local government financial regulations and internal policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in general accounting
Experience working with government entities or public sector organizations is preferred
Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and MS Excel
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work within tight deadlines
Immediate availability is preferred
