To install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels related to gas distribution networks, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations in compliance with safety and hazardous area standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical components in gas distribution systems (LPG/SNG)
Carry out wiring of control panels, sensors, and actuators used in gas pressure regulation, leak detection, and remote monitoring.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety regulations standards for hazardous areas.
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
Assist in the installation and integration of SCADA/PLC-based automation systems.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure proper grounding, earthing, and bonding of all electrical installations.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, and panel schematics.
Coordinate with instrumentation and mechanical teams to ensure seamless operation.
Participate in commissioning and start-up activities for new or modified systems.
Comply with all safety protocols and report hazards or incidents immediately.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical or related field
experience in control panels
Gas Distribution experience is an advantage
with valid UAE driving license
