1. Assessment and selection of artwork. 2. Curating shows and art exhibitions. 3. Cataloging acquisitions and keeping records and archives. 4. Developing and updating the gallery website. 5. Promoting and selling artists' work, through both exhibitions and Personal contacts. 6. Overseeing the type of artwork sold. 7. Planning, organizing, presenting and marketing exhibitions and shows, Including responsibility for public relations. 8. General administration, budgeting, finance and accounts. 9. Arranging transportation of work to and from the gallery, both Nationally and internationally. 10. Organizing equipment hire and ensuring correct installation of the Artwork. 11. Negotiating with gallery managers and curators from other galleries to Arrange for loans. 12. Developing client lists by notifying potential clients of particular works And exhibitions, according to their stated interests. 13. Extending the client database. 14. Liaising with visiting artists and negotiating sales. 15. Working closely with individual artists, developing relationships with New artists, and extending relationships with established artists from The gallery 'stable'. 16. Promoting exhibitions and work by individual artists. 17. Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the gallery. 18. Developing and/or maintaining the gallery's remit. 19. Maintaining ongoing promotion and advertising of the gallery. 20. Keeping up to date with industry developments and market trends.
