Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate sofa frames using wood and other materials.
Assemble, cut, and shape wooden parts as per design.
Work with upholstery teams for fitting and finishing.
Read and interpret technical drawings or design sketches.
Ensure quality standards and attention to detail in every piece.
Repair or refurbish sofas when required.
Maintain tools and workshop cleanliness.
Requirements:
3-5 years of proven experience as a sofa or furniture carpenter.
Strong understanding of different wood types and upholstery materials.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Precision, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in carpentry is a plus).
