Job Description

A European family currently living in Dubai is seeking an experienced long-term nanny to care for their 7-month-old son. The family currently have a maternity nurse and are wanting the nanny to take over once she leaves.

The nanny will have their own private bedroom and bathroom, close to the baby's room, and will have the monitor overnight.

This is a staffed household, and the nanny will be in communication with the chef, submitting weekly menus to help introduce healthy and nutritious meals to the baby. The family own a dog, which isn't the candidateaEUR(TM)s responsibility, but they must be comfortable around him.

The family are wanting the candidate to join them by March 20th for a handover with the maternity nurse, who leaves at the end of the month. They will then travel between May and September around Europe, the schedule will be 20-24/6, once they return to Dubai the family will consider a weekend or ROTA nanny to join the team. Responsibilities

All aspects of childcare for the child, including managing sleep and feeding schedules Handling baby laundry and maintaining organization of the baby's spaces Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases Have a deep understanding of a child's physical, social, intellectual, and emotional development Creating an engaging and safe environment and provide developmentally appropriate enrichment daily activities Researching classes and making sure the baby gets out for social and educational outings Packing for travel and planning outings in all locations Communicating with the alternating nanny to ensure continuity of care and that all necessary information is shared Qualifications

A swimmer would be a bonus Comfortable working with involved parents, and with full-charge care as needed Flexible and organized-able to keep structure while going with the flow Thoughtful and proactive Engaging with children Desire for a long-term position Engaging, loving, and warm Excellent communication skills Requirements

The candidates must have a minimum of 15 yrs+ experience Fluent English speaking The candidate must have either a European passport or Schengen visa. Recent and extensive experience with similar aged children Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally multiple times per year Previous travel experience with families The candidate should be energetic, positive, and have a warm and calming presence Must be routine orientated but flexible Must be passionate about their role and highly committed, warm, and caring Up to date First Aid certificate An enhanced police check is required Salary and Benefits
