Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Front of House Associate with excellent knowledge of coffee and juice preparation. You will be the face of our brand, responsible for creating delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the front-of-house operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be key in delivering a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Beverage Preparation & Expertise:

Expertly prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffees (latte, cappuccino, flat white, etc.), filter coffee, and specialty pour-overs.

Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, juicers, and other equipment to the highest standards.

Prepare fresh, high-quality juices, smoothies, and other non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.

Ensure all drinks are presented beautifully and consistently.

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our coffee origins, juice ingredients, and menu offerings to make recommendations and answer customer questions.

2. Customer Service & Sales:

Greet all customers with a positive and welcoming attitude.

Guide customers through the menu, suggest items, and answer questions knowledgeably.

Process orders and payments accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Build rapport with regular customers and create a friendly, community-oriented environment.

3. Operations & cleanliness:

Ensure the FOH area, including the coffee bar, juice station, and dining area, is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

Follow all opening and closing procedures diligently.

Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (as per local Dubai Municipality regulations).

Manage inventory stock levels for coffee beans, milk, fruits, vegetables, cups, and other supplies, informing the manager when orders are needed.

Handle cash and card transactions responsibly.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a cafe, coffee shop, juice bar, or high-volume restaurant.

Technical Skills:

Proven ability to operate a commercial espresso machine and other coffee equipment.

Strong knowledge of coffee extraction, milk steaming, and latte art is highly desirable.

Experience in preparing fresh juices, smoothies, and health-focused beverages.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy boxes (up to 15 kg), and handle repetitive tasks.

Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
