Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description

As a receptionist front desk in a medical center, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that all patients are welcomed in a friendly and professional manner and that their needs are attended to promptly. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries. You will also assist in the administrative tasks of the medical center. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner \xc2\xb7 Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate department \xc2\xb7 Scheduling appointments for patients and managing the appointment book \xc2\xb7 Ensuring patient information is accurate and up-to-date in the electronic medical records system \xc2\xb7 Handling patient inquiries and providing them with the necessary information \xc2\xb7 Maintaining the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy and presentable at all times \xc2\xb7 Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry \xc2\xb7 Coordinating with other departments within the medical center to ensure smooth patient flow and care coordination \xc2\xb7 Ensuring compliance with medical center policies and procedures \xc2\xb7 Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times \xc2\xb7 Performing any other duties as assigned by the management \xc2\xb7 Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner. \xc2\xb7 Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner. \xc2\xb7 Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. \xc2\xb7 Informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries. \xc2\xb7 Enhance effectiveness by providing information management support. \xc2\xb7 Produces information by transcribing, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. \xc2\xb7 Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; and initialing telecommunication. \xc2\xb7 Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. \xc2\xb7 Secure information by completing database backups. \xc2\xb7 Provide historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems. \xc2\xb7 Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. \xc2\xb7 File and update contact information of employees, customers, suppliers and external partners. \xc2\xb7 Set up, copy, scan and store documents. \xc2\xb7 File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage. \xc2\xb7 Manage the processes around documentation within the organization. \xc2\xb7 Respond to calls, emails, and routine letters; direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department. \xc2\xb7 Manage schedules and calendars; arrange, coordinate, and schedule meetings; prepare meeting documents for the managing director. \xc2\xb7 Proofread and edit documents to ensure proper spelling and grammar as well as compliance with company policy; recommend revisions as needed. Office Duties

Key skills and Qualification:
  • Any Bachelors Degree
  • At least 3 years of Prior administrative experience (Medical Background must required)
  • Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to AED4,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Jumeirah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
