The Role
Job description: This position has a key role in the customers interface with the company as well as the management and employees. The receptionist shall manage the front desk area and is expected to have a welcoming and pleasant personality and behave at all times with a high level of professionalism and courtesy that leaves a good impression and builds upon confidence. The receptionist loves interacting with people, putting them at ease and helping them solve their problems. The receptionist also provides general administrative and clerical support, such as scheduling meetings, handling transcription, printing, photocopying, sending emails, as well as making travel arrangements and assisting HR teams. Primary Duties: \xe2\x80\xa2 Receiving, greeting, and directing visitors to appropriate people \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing telecommunications and transferring calls as necessary \xe2\x80\xa2 Handling queries and complaints via phone, email, and general correspondence \xe2\x80\xa2 Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing meeting rooms availability \xe2\x80\xa2 Receiving, sorting, distributing, and dispatching daily mail \xe2\x80\xa2 Handling transcription, printing, and photocopying \xe2\x80\xa2 Recording and maintaining office expenses when required \xe2\x80\xa2 Handling travel arrangements when required \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinating internal and external events when required \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing office inventory such as stationery, equipment and furniture when required \xe2\x80\xa2 Overseeing office services like cleaners and maintenance service providers \xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting the HR team with recruitment, onboarding, and termination processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area Position Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure compliance with all company regulations and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Interface with other team members; support them on matters mentioned above \xe2\x80\xa2 Proper usage of computer and MS office programs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to host and company roadshows, ceremonies, and external events. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexibility to meet varying time schedules \xe2\x80\xa2 Professional attitude and appearance at all times

Requirements
Education and Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, hospitality, or business related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent command of English, conversing and writing; Arabic is a plus. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal communication \xe2\x80\xa2 Good telephone communication etiquette \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-organized and resourceful \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer-service attitude \xe2\x80\xa2 Active listener \xe2\x80\xa2 Positive attitude under stress or during periods of high workload \xe2\x80\xa2 Adept at prioritizing, scheduling, and multitasking \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to handle office equipment (telephone system and printers) \xe2\x80\xa2 Fast and eager learner Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 2 years previous experience in similar position in hospitality field fronting customers \xe2\x80\xa2 2 years previous experience in UAE
