Front Desk Agent - Guest Services and Reception - Dubai

Raffles the Palm Dubai is hiring a Front Desk Agent to provide personalized and efficient guest service at the reception and Raffles Club. This role is critical in creating a welcoming first impression, assisting with check-ins, check-outs, cashiering, and handling guest requests professionally. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the Raffles Club and front desk with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Complete check-in, check-out, and room change processes accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and reconcile cashier float; process payments and foreign currency exchanges
• Handle inquiries regarding loyalty programs, special packages, and promotions
• Respond to guest complaints and requests, escalating when needed to management
• Coordinate closely with butlers and other departments to fulfill guest needs
• Promote onward bookings within the Raffles brand network when applicable
• Prepare night audit reports, morning summaries, and ensure accounting accuracy
• Keep the reception and Raffles Club areas clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Follow established health, safety, and hotel policies

Candidate Requirements

• Post-secondary education or diploma in Hotel Management
• Minimum 2 years of guest-facing experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel setting
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle guest concerns calmly
• Familiarity with property management systems and front office procedures
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Professional appearance and a team-oriented mindset
