Job Purpose:

We are hiring on behalf of our client in the fresh food retail sector for a strategic role focused on enhancing department-level performance and profitability. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading operations across fresh food categories while ensuring compliance, quality standards, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assortment & Merchandising

Propose assortment structures in coordination with the commercial team Define and implement store-specific merchandising standards Oversee promotional activities and ensure displays align with guidelines Monitor KPIs such as sales mix, dumping %, stock-on-hand (SOH), and availability
Hygiene & Quality

Support the development and enforcement of hygiene standards in line with health regulations Define and monitor quality KPIs with the quality department Investigate root causes of audit failures and implement corrective measures
Transversal Projects

Lead or support projects that span multiple departments, especially during store openings or re-openings Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth execution Raise and resolve operational material needs during team meetings
Promotions

Propose and validate promotional offers with the commercial team Develop promotional activity plans and evaluate performance for continuous improvement
Training & Recruitment

Participate in recruitment as per departmental needs Ensure smooth onboarding and strong integration of new team members Coordinate training for new products or initiatives to ensure team alignment and operational success

Experience & Skills:

of experience in

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills (English & Arabic) Leadership & team management Analytical thinking & initiative-taking Understanding of retail operations, compliance, and quality processe
