Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Freelance MEP Planning Engineer

to support our projects on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems and specializes in developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules using industry-standard planning tools. This role requires a professional who can work independently, deliver high-quality outputs, and communicate effectively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project schedules for MEP works using

Primavera

or

MS Project

. Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate planning deliverables. Monitor project progress, update schedules, and generate weekly/monthly progress reports. Identify delays, propose corrective actions, and support recovery plans. Coordinate virtually or on-site with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Prepare manpower histograms, progress curves, and planning documentation. Support planning for procurement, material delivery schedules, and resource allocation. Provide expert advice on project sequencing and MEP execution strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum

3+ years of experience

in MEP planning or project control. Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems. Proficiency in

Primavera

(mandatory), MS Project, and MS Excel. Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing MEP schedules for building or infrastructure projects. Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
