Function
Ensure that all activities, for which the FPSO Lead is responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements and the Project Management Plan. In particular health and safety of personnel, natural and working environment and equipment shall be taken care of.
Review documentation according to Document Distribution Matrix.
Identify deviations and NCRs and ensure that they are raised to the appropriate authorized personnel for approval/acceptance.
Prepare work packs for the project scope for inclusion in Yard Contract.
Review and modify existing work packs to ensure alignment with FEED and Contract Strategy.
Update existing work packs based on new information and/or outcome of survey/review.
Assist with the development of Contract Exhibits, particularly those relating to Scope of Work.
Provide guidance and input to FEED and Commercial teams on technical solutions as required.
Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, Vendors and Shipyard for arrangement of inspections and scope clarifications relating to FPSO Scope.
Conduct weekly internal and external (contractor and client) meetings related to FPSO scope.
Identify or review and manage the planning and execution of activities required for the preparation of the FPSO for towing to shipyard.
Provide input to weekly and monthly progress report
Close assigned TQ\'s and other actions items in PIMS or formal MOM.
Participate in discipline checks, design reviews, HAZIDs and HAZOPs.
Ensures that AIP and Client safety, quality and management standards are implemented and maintained in the development of the topsides systems.

Requirements
Prior experience of leading FPSO development of new or re-conversion of existing vessels and demonstrating design, engineering, construction experience. Experience with Sevan type vessels is beneficial
15+ years\' experience in oil and gas industry, including a minimum of 10 years in a supervisory position in Technical management and/or Construction management.
Engineering degree or equivalent - preferably in marine engineering or naval architecture.
Good understanding of risk management, processes and procedures.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to lead and direct a multi-disciplined, multi-cultural teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including: report writing, presentations, diplomacy and assertiveness
Be used to managing and working with a multi-disciplined teams and cultures
An organized, systematic approach; self-starter / proactive; able to multi-task and still meet deadlines.
Proficient in common computers applications
