Foreman with experience in pool and landscape construction
to oversee daily on-site operations. The Foreman will lead and supervise crews in the construction and installation of residential and commercial pools, landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation systems, and outdoor features. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of managing projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities for pool and landscape projects.
Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy.
Manage crews of laborers and subcontractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Operate and maintain construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Communicate project updates, issues, and progress with project managers and clients.
Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Order and manage delivery of materials and supplies to job sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site problems and delays.
Maintain daily logs of work performed, timekeeping, and job site conditions.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in pool construction and/or landscape construction, with 1+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of pool plumbing, electrical, shotcrete/gunite, tile, coping, decking, and landscaping techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and landscape designs.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
OSHA certification or other relevant safety training is a plus.
