Job Summary:

We are seeking a

Fabricator Estimator

to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for metal fabrication projects (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.) based on technical drawings, material requirements, and labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Review technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications. Calculate material quantities, cutting lists, and fabrication processes. Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, machinery, and subcontractor services. Work with CAD designs to extract material and cutting requirements. Coordinate with the production team to verify manufacturing capabilities and timelines. Send inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors for pricing. Prepare and submit quotations and tenders in line with company policies. Track project costs, variations, and ensure profitability analysis. Maintain a database of costs for materials, labor, and historical projects. Attend client meetings and site visits when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2-4 years of relevant experience in fabrication estimation (steel/aluminum/metal works). Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding, cutting, and assembly techniques. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

SolidWorks

, or equivalent software for reading and interpreting drawings. Experience in using estimation software or spreadsheets (Excel is a must). Good knowledge of material specifications and standards. Strong communication skills for client and supplier coordination. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in UAE/Dubai fabrication or construction market. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related field. Knowledge of local market suppliers and pricing. Making quotation & As per requirement
