Job Summary:

The Electrical Foreman will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the electrical team on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with specifications, codes, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct the activities of electricians and electrical helpers on-site. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. Plan and coordinate daily tasks, assign work to team members, and ensure materials and tools are available. Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and correct any deviations or unsafe practices. Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth project workflow. Maintain accurate records of labor, material usage, and daily work reports. Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed. Support the testing, commissioning, and handover processes. Liaise with engineers and project managers to resolve technical issues on-site. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical works, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Good communication and leadership skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office and site documentation.
