We are seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Hygiene Officer to join our team. As a Hygiene Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enforcing hygiene standards in compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and oversee hygiene and sanitation protocols across all kitchen and food handling areas.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality rules and regulations.
Develop and enforce hygiene policies and procedures tailored to the specific needs of school catering.
Train kitchen staff on hygiene practices and safe food handling techniques.
Monitor food storage, preparation, and serving to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Investigate and resolve any hygiene-related issues or complaints promptly.
Collaborate with management to continuously improve hygiene standards and operational efficiency.
Keep abreast of industry trends and updates in food safety regulations, especially those pertinent to children's dietary requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Hygiene Officer or similar role in a catering or food service environment.
In-depth knowledge of Dubai Municipality rules and regulations related to food hygiene and safety.
Understanding of children's dietary requirements and sensitivity to their health needs.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and train others on hygiene practices.
Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP) is a plus.
