Food/FMCG - with a focus on premium/luxury packaging
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative
Food Packaging Development Executive/Specialist
to lead the design and development of innovative, functional, and visually compelling packaging solutions. This role involves working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and external vendors to deliver packaging that enhances brand identity, ensures food safety, and optimizes shelf-life and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Take
end-to-end ownership
of packaging development: from
structural design and material sourcing
to
prototyping and final execution
.
Collaborate closely with the
marketing team
to align packaging aesthetics with
brand storytelling and customer experience
.
Coordinate with
operations and supply chain
on packaging formats that support
shelf-life, logistics, and storage optimization
.
Identify and source
eco-friendly, innovative, and cost-effective packaging materials
.
Ensure full
compliance with food safety standards
, including managing
relevant certifications and documentation
.
Work directly with
suppliers, printers, and manufacturers
to maintain
quality control
and production timelines.
Stay ahead of
industry trends, consumer preferences
, and
sustainable packaging innovations
to continually enhance the brand's packaging portfolio.
Experience-
5-10 years in food or FMCG packaging development. Experience in
luxury confectionery
or
boutique gifting
is a strong plus.
Skills-
Proficient in
CAD/3D design tools
, strong knowledge of
material science
, excellent in
cost analysis
and
vendor negotiation
.
Industry Exposure-
Proven track record in both
mass-market
and
premium packaging design
.
Location-
Based in
Dubai
or open to
relocation
.
