Food Dispatcher
Job Description
Dispatchers are responsible for ?accepting calls from sales staff, customers, and other locations for order of materials, taking, processing, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery, coordinating product transfers, contacting trucking companies to coordinate shipments, instructing drivers on load requirements, completing orders accurately and in a timely manner, operating truck scales, completing weight tags, bills of loading, and hazardous material shipping papers, taking product order inquiries, communicating directions and instructions, keeping track of inventory of products stored in warehouses and in bulk storage, and tracking and reporting all shipments to security regarding authorizations on property after hours.
