We are looking for a detail-oriented Food Cost Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs, ensuring proper inventory management, and maintaining accurate cost reports. This role plays a vital part in helping the company maintain profitability while upholding quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Control and analyze food and beverage costs on a daily basis.
Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure accuracy in stock management.
Coordinate with purchasing and kitchen departments to verify pricing, wastage, and consumption.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports to management.
Monitor variances and investigate discrepancies in food and beverage costings.
Review and verify supplier invoices and ensure adherence to approved pricing.
Assist in menu costing and recipe standardization with the culinary team.
Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising food quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Food Cost Controller or similar role in hospitality/F&B industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, food cost analysis, and cost control systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., FMC, Material Control, or similar).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and integrity in handling data.
