Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Cost Controller - Food & Beverage for our esteemed client in Kuwait. The F&B Cost Controller is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and managing food and beverage costs across the operation. This role ensures cost efficiency, accurate inventory control, and adherence to budgetary targets while working closely with the culinary, purchasing, and finance departments.

Job Location - Kuwait

Job Responsibilities: 1. Cost Monitoring & Control Track and analyse food and beverage costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Compare actual vs theoretical costs and identify variances. Highlight areas of concern and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

2. Inventory & Stock Management Conduct regular inventory audits of stores, bars, kitchens, and outlets. Monitor par levels, wastage, spoilage, and pilferage. Ensure proper documentation of transfers, issues, and returns.

3. Purchasing & Receiving Oversight Coordinate with the purchasing team to verify quantities and prices on invoices. Check that goods received match the purchase order and delivery note. Ensure all items are received, stored, and issued according to SOPs.

4. Menu & Recipe Costing Assist chefs and managers in creating and updating menu and recipe costings. Ensure menu pricing reflects accurate food and beverage cost percentages. Support in evaluating profitability of new menu items.

5. Reporting & Compliance Generate accurate reports on consumption, cost of sales, and inventory valuation. Assist in month-end closing and reporting. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company policies.

Requirements: F&B background Knowledge in recipe costing Experience in F&B cost control, preferably in hotels or large restaurants.

Salary : KWD 350 - KWD 400
