Duties & Responsibilities of FM Supervisor (with Driving License)
1. Supervision of Maintenance Operations
Oversee daily facility maintenance activities, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical works.
Assign, monitor, and inspect work performed by technicians to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed as per schedule and AMC requirements.
2. Site Mobility & Coordination
Travel between multiple sites or client locations using a company vehicle to supervise operations.
Attend client sites to inspect work quality, coordinate with contractors, and resolve site-related issues.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and breakdown situations.
3. Staff Management & Team Leadership
Supervise, guide, and train maintenance staff to ensure adherence to company standards and safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training sessions.
Monitor staff attendance, performance, and productivity, reporting to Facility Engineer/Manager.
4. Client Interaction & Reporting
Communicate effectively with clients to address maintenance issues, updates, and feedback.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports to the Facility Engineer/Manager.
Ensure client satisfaction through timely, professional, and safe service delivery.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
Enforce compliance with HSE policies, company safety standards, and local regulations.
Monitor technicians for safe work practices, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) and proper PPE usage.
Report accidents, near-misses, or unsafe acts immediately to management.
6. Material & Resource Management
Verify availability of tools, materials, and spare parts required for maintenance tasks.
Maintain proper inventory, request materials, and ensure tools are in good condition.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources to prevent wastage or delays.
7. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain job completion reports, checklists, and service records for all FM activities.
Assist in preparing quotations, cost estimates, and AMC-related documentation.
Track and report pending works, repairs, and major maintenance requirements.
8. Support to Facility Engineers/Managers
Assist in planning and implementing maintenance schedules.
Conduct joint inspections with engineers and clients to verify work quality.
Provide feedback on manpower requirements, system performance, and improvement opportunities.
9. Emergency & On-Call Support
Attend emergency situations outside working hours as per FM requirements.
Ensure quick resolution of critical facility issues to minimize downtime.
