Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

FM Engineer/Estimator

to support the planning, costing, and execution of maintenance and engineering services in facilities management projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in engineering systems (MEP/HVAC/Civil) as well as strong capabilities in estimating costs, preparing BOQs, and supporting tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities: Engineering & Technical Support

Supervise and coordinate MEP and civil maintenance activities on-site. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and technicians to deliver services as per SLAs. Analyze technical problems and provide effective solutions.

Estimation & Tendering

Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for FM projects. Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), material take-offs, and cost summaries. Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing. Support proposal writing and bid submission.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records of material, manpower, and cost estimation sheets. Generate technical and commercial proposals. Prepare monthly reports, variation claims, and project cost analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in FM engineering and estimation. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance practices, and service contracts. Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, and MS Office (especially Excel). Familiar with FM software and CAFM systems is a plus.
