Job Description

The Facilities Management (FM) Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems, infrastructure, and services. This role ensures the efficient and safe functioning of all facility-related equipment and systems, aligning with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS, and other essential systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building services. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and contractors. Maintain documentation such as equipment logs, inspection reports, and compliance records. Assist in budgeting, energy management, and cost-saving initiatives. Support project execution involving upgrades, renovations, or expansions. Respond to emergencies and provide technical support during facility incidents. Implement sustainability initiatives and monitor energy usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering. 3-5 years of experience in facilities management or building maintenance engineering. Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, and building automation systems. Familiarity with CAFM software and maintenance tracking tools. Understanding of HSE standards and regulatory compliance. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

Certified Facility Manager (CFM) - IFMA LEED Accreditation NEBOSH / OSHA Certification Trade license (Electrical/Mechanical) if applicable

Working Conditions:

On-site work in office buildings, industrial plants, or campuses. May include rotating shifts, on-call duties, and occasional travel to other locations.
