FM Engineer - Civil

Job Purpose:

The FM Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing the civil maintenance and infrastructure works within the facilities under management. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing civil works, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of all facilities, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments to resolve civil-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and evaluate the condition of civil structures and recommend corrective and preventive maintenance. Plan and manage civil maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of works. Respond to civil-related emergencies and ensure immediate rectification. Supervise and monitor subcontractors and maintenance teams to ensure quality and safety compliance. Coordinate with the MEP and other departments for integrated maintenance solutions. Prepare scope of works, BOQ, and technical reports for civil-related projects and maintenance. Maintain proper documentation for inspections, repairs, maintenance logs, and as-built drawings. Ensure all civil works adhere to local building codes, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements. Provide technical support during audits, inspections, and client visits. Participate in budgeting and procurement for civil materials and services.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Facilities Management or civil maintenance. Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, waterproofing, concrete repair, tiling, and finishing works. Familiarity with CAFM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in residential, commercial, or healthcare facilities is a plus.

Pay: QAR10,000.00 per month
