Job Title: Facilities Engineer
Role and Responsibilities This job exists to have better technical management of maintenance activities. The FM Engineer is expected to supervise local SOPs for facilities management through FM processes in place and management of documentation.
More detailed roles and responsibilities are as following:
  • Supervise AMC contractors and report on the overall performance and work progress of tasks assigned.
  • Track and supervise Operations related to Facilities Management.
  • Track PPM schedule for the MHE fleet in Dubai and ensure availability of 85% MHE readiness at all time.
  • Maintain and manage 3rd party responsible for the servicing of the MHE units.
  • Run a quarterly condition survey exercise to assess asset life cycle of the MHEs.
  • Follow up on long lead items of maintenance and ensure to always maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
  • Maintain and manage physical asset and storage site inventory.
  • Coordinate and monitor vendor\xe2\x80\x99s performance through performing building related services.
  • Assist in technical evaluation and data analysis.
  • Management PR operations for the work orders and to raise new requests.
  • Assist direct line Manager to develop and evaluate plans for facilities.
  • Inspect entire buildings to identify general corrective maintenance as necessary for proper maintenance and operation of various equipment, fixtures, etc.
  • Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to management.
  • Supervise preventive maintenance with Third Party FM team.
  • Update and maintain records to track maintenance and repairs through FMS.
  • Notify and mitigate any facilities emergencies if any.
  • Ensure to maintain and continuous operation of mechanical systems like MHEs, HVAC systems, Solar Systems, generators, and UPS system.
  • Follow up on IRs Manage part of procurement process.
  • Manage RM and CM of DXB and AUH facilities as per set priorities.
  • Monitor and manage BMS systems (If applicable) and conduct energy analysis on quarterly basis.
  • Conduct weekly walk through for soft services.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs for the service providers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or equivalent. Preferred Experience Minimum of 3 years in Facility Management (Electromechanical Systems) or relevant areas

  • Proficiency in Spoken/written English.
  • Command on the use of MS office
  • Team Player
  • Good Business writing skills
  • Document archiving
  • General knowledge on FM SOPs
  • Familiarity with FM software (optional)
  • Familiarity with Auto CAD/Schematic drawings.
