Fleet Team Leader

who brings operational excellence, technical know-how, and leadership to oversee the end-to-end management of our expanding vehicle fleet.

Role Overview

As Fleet Team Leader, you will be responsible for the efficient planning, coordination, and supervision of all fleet operations--including procurement, maintenance, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and financial oversight. You'll serve as the key point of contact for fleet-related matters, ensuring optimal performance and cost control while maintaining the highest service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the procurement of fleet vehicles (cash and bank-financed), including negotiations with banks and suppliers. Manage vehicle registration, insurance, renewals, and RTA compliance processes across all Emirates. Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure timely fleet servicing. Administer tracking systems, monitor vehicle usage, and manage GPS/telematics tools. Maintain up-to-date fleet records, including vehicle history, depreciation, insurance claims, and financial liabilities. Supervise resale, deactivation, and replacement cycles of vehicles to maximize ROI. Operate Odoo ERP or similar systems for real-time fleet tracking, documentation, and cost reporting. Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealerships, garages, insurance firms, and financial institutions. Identify cost-saving opportunities across insurance, fuel, maintenance, and acquisition channels. Ensure full compliance with UAE transport regulations, labour laws, and internal company policies. Provide regular reporting to management on fleet performance, budgeting, and operational risks.

Requirements

Minimum

5+ years of UAE-based experience

in fleet operations, vehicle procurement, and maintenance management. Solid understanding of

RTA regulations

and licensing requirements across Emirates. Proven experience in vehicle financing, insurance coordination, and vendor negotiations. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes, resale markets, and fleet accounting (mortgage, depreciation, etc.). Proficiency with

Odoo ERP

or any advanced fleet management software. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive Management, or a related discipline (preferred). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in

English
