Job Summary
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of Tawseel's delivery fleet in Sharjah. This role ensures vehicles are operating efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining high service standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the delivery fleet, including vehicle allocation, routing, and driver schedules across Sharjah.
Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and GPS tracking to ensure efficient usage and timely deliveries.
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and oversee repairs through approved workshops.
Handle fleet documentation such as vehicle registration, insurance renewals, and maintenance logs.
Maintain compliance with UAE transport regulations and road safety standards.
Supervise, train, and support drivers to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Analyze fleet performance data and generate regular reports on utilization, cost-efficiency, and downtime.
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams for vehicle leasing, acquisition, and operational budgeting.
Implement systems and processes to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies involving fleet vehicles.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet or transportation management, preferably in the UAE.
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, logistics operations, and UAE traffic laws.
Proficiency in using fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid UAE driving license is a must.
Fluency in English and Arabic
