: The Fleet Incharge will oversee the overall management and operation of the company's fleet department, handling up to 1,500 bikes (500 Speedy bikes and 1,000 leased bikes). This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with legal and registration requirements, cost control, and optimal utilization of fleet assets.
Key Responsibilities
: Fleet Operations Management - Ensure proper allocation, utilization, and monitoring of all bikes. - Coordinate bike transfers, maintenance schedules, insurance renewals, and registration.
Compliance & Legal Handling
- Ensure timely completion of all legal requirements including insurance, registration, and license renewals. - Manage fines, penalties, and ensure prompt settlement or dispute resolution. - Maintain up-to-date documentation for all vehicles.
Financial Recordkeeping & Budgeting
- Work closely with the dedicated accountant to track all expenses, investments, and budgets related to fleet operations. - Provide accurate data and reports for management decisions.
Vendor & Lease Management
- Liaise with leasing companies and external vendors for smooth coordination of leased bikes. - Monitor lease agreements and renewal timelines.
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field. -
Proven experience (3-5 years) in fleet management or a similar operational role.
- Strong understanding of UAE legal and regulatory requirements for vehicle registration and leasing. - Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software is an advantage.
