Position Summary

The Fit-Out Site Engineer is responsible for providing technical solutions across all fit-out projects and sites. The role focuses on supporting supervisors, ensuring accurate execution of works, resolving site and production issues, minimizing rework, controlling costs, and maintaining quality and timelines. The Site Engineer works closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical solutions and guidance for all ongoing fit-out projects and sites.

Support and guide site supervisors to execute works in an efficient, safe, and high-quality manner. Supervise site activities whenever required to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards. Identify site challenges, technical issues, or risks and immediately inform the Project Manager. Prepare shop drawings, detail drawings, and sketches when necessary to support site execution. Review issued drawings and specifications; identify discrepancies and provide clear technical comments. Coordinate with Project Manager, engineers, and supervisors to resolve design and execution issues. Ensure proper implementation of approved drawings to avoid rework and material wastage. Focus on cost control by minimizing errors, rework, and unnecessary variations. Provide practical solutions for production and on-site works to maintain progress and quality. Monitor workmanship quality and ensure fit-out works meet project and company standards. Assist in planning daily activities and technical sequencing of works. Ensure coordination between civil, MEP, joinery, and finishing trades.

Experience & Qualification Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in interior fit-out or related construction works.

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field. Good knowledge of fit-out drawings, materials, and site execution practices. UAE project experience is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide quick and practical site solutions. Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and management. Attention to detail to identify drawing issues and execution gaps. Cost-awareness mindset to reduce rework and save project costs. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple sites if required. Basic knowledge of safety, quality, and site documentation.
